Adelaide Fringe Festival

  2008 Theatresports™ – Excelsior Hall

The tightest, jam packed season ever. No warm ups, no rookies and no mercy as the best 12 improvisers in S.A. battle through to the Finals in this Fringe Classic

Their performances however may only be curtain raisers to the no-holds-barred confrontation, likely to erupt between audience and judges.

2007 audiences were not satisfied with merely booing judges who delivered low scores. Offenders were showered with projectiles, and open violence was only just averted by a smooth talking M.C. This year all hell will break loose with the re-introduction of  “The Hanging Judge”. This law unto himself will terminate any scene that doesn’t tickle his fancy. Impro NOW! is considering issuing pieces of wet sponge for audience members to throw so more dangerous projectiles will be avoided.
